Lockdown learning continues

Social distancing measures have meant the end to classroom based delivery for the time being, so we've moved to online methods of delivery. We are using video conferencing, like Zoom and Skype, our VLE (Moodle), phone calls and emails to engage with our learners and continue classes.

We are really thrilled with the positive engagement we are seeing, and the feedback from learners that show that they really like this alternative to being on site. Some have asked that online learning continues even after restrictions end, and we are taking this on board in planning moving forwards.

Tutors have been sharing amazing videos and photos of what learners have been doing, which we've been posting to our social media channels, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Do keep in touch with what we are doing by following us.

From apprentices gaining qualifications and full time employment, sewing learners making scrubs and facemasks for the NHS, learners doing projects around VE day, teaching assistants on education and training courses still supporting children online whilst they can't get to their placements, we are seeing so many wonderful achievements. And you can still enrol online for lots of new courses too.

So please, keep learning with NCL and sharing your stories with us.
