Celebrating apprenticeship success

Headed up by Barbara Archer, our Employer Led Apprenticeship Team, including Andrea Satterthwaite, Louise Black, Suzanne Black and Phillipa Gordon, have delivered a highly successful and impactful year of apprenticeship provision, supporting learners and employers across the city. 

Delivery shows improvements across all areas, with a 88.5% overall achievement rate which is significantly above the national average, and a 95.65% distinction rate, demonstrating exceptional learner performance. There is a a 100% pass rate across all apprenticeship programmes, with 95.2% attendance highlighting strong learner and engagement.

Employers have praised the team’s communication and responsiveness, noting the exceptional support provided to apprentices at every stage. 

Learners have also shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about their experience, highlighting the team's support, clarity and encouragement which has helped them grow in confidence and skills.

We work closely together, share best practice and maintain high standards across all aspects of delivery. This strong team culture underpins the positive outcomes achieved this year.”
