Success for Ethan

We would like to say a huge well done to 18 year-old-Ethan who is on his second year at Newcastle City Learning on our Programmes for Young People, Construction pathway.

Ethan attended a work placement with Newcastle City Council and Your Homes Newcastle as part of the Operations and Regulatory Services Team. He received great feedback from his mentor and this experience gave Ethan the confidence and skills needed to apply for a Traineeship vacancy within Newcastle City Council.

Ethan was successful in his application for the Traineeship and was offered a three month paid contract which he started last month. He will continue to study Maths and English at Newcastle City Learning one day per week throughout this time.

Looking towards the future, Ethan hopes to successfully complete his Traineeship and then go on to gain an apprenticeship. Keep up the great work, Ethan. We're very proud of you!
