Counselling Courses

Level 2 and Level 3 counselling qualifications

These qualifications are useful for anyone who would like to develop their use of counselling skills for use in either work or a personal capacity.

These courses do not qualify learners to practice as a counsellor but are suitable for those who wish to increase their self-awareness, understanding of counselling and the associated techniques. The communication skills you will develop, will prove invaluable to enhance interactions with others and especially in a helping capacity. The knowledge and skills on offer, can be utilised to complement an existing role, or as a basis for continued study to attain a qualification in this sector.

Our Level 5 counselling qualification

For those who have successfully completed the level 2 and 3 counselling qualifications, this is your progression route to becoming a professional therapeutic counsellor. You will have the opportunity to significantly enhance your knowledge of counselling theories and ethics, alongside your own personal development to enhance your therapeutic style and practice.

This course will provide an understanding of the theory, skills and expertise required to work as a professional Counsellor as well as providing progression to higher levels of study in this subject at degree level.

If you have a passion for helping people, this qualification can enable you to make a real difference to someone's life, improve their wellbeing and gain immense personal satisfaction.

All our courses can be delivered in a blended fashion utilising both classroom-based and an online learning platform via Google Classroom.

Many of our learners have been very successful in finding paid work at the end of their level 5 qualification. Some of them have gained paid work as counsellors with charities, schools, and in private practice.
