Raising money for our charities

Our Independent Living Classes have been very busy this term raising money for their chosen charities. As part of their Mental Health and Wellbeing project each class chose a charity to support. Monday’s class chose Samaritans and did a sponsored walk and Name the Bunny. Tuesday’s class chose Mind and did a sponsored walk and a coffee morning.

The learners raised a massive total of £433.51 which will be divided between the two charities. Some of the money will also go towards next term’s project to buy items to help the homeless and their end of year event.
