Zero to Hero
Zero to Hero is a 6 week course to help new small online businesses get up and running. It is ideal for people who have an idea for a business, or a skill that they would like to try and monetise, but have no idea where to start.
In the first half of the course, we will focus on the planning and researching, writing a business plan, costing your products etc. You will then have a break week to focus on product development. In the second half of the course, we will go through some of the more practical elements like product photography and marketing. In the final week we hope to have a full set of new businesses ready to hit POST on their first product listing available for purchase.
Everyone who completes this course is invited to join the Zero to Hero mini network, some of the people in this network launched their business ages ago and have a wealth of experience, some are only a few weeks ahead of you, but everyone is encouraging and supportive, and it’s a great way to dip your toe in the wide world of networking. There are no requirements for joining this class however, you should already have a business idea in mind and/or some products already made up, and some motivation. You can bring your own laptops/devices if you want to as there will be work for you to complete to develop your business and you may find it easier to stay on the same machine in and out of class.
